Hi, I’m Marlene Smith, the Owner and Head Coach of Splash Water Academy in Kimberley. With over 20 years of experience, I’ve had the opportunity to teach swimming to both kids and adults, helping them become confident and capable swimmers.
My focus is on getting results quickly and effectively, with a straightforward approach that helps students make noticeable progress in a short time. I’ve built a strong reputation for my ability to teach swimming faster than many others in Kimberley, which comes from years of honing a method that truly works.

Van ‘n kleinding wat te bang is om haar gesig onder die water te sit, let alone haar kop, het ons nou ‘n water-safe swemmer van formaat als te danke aan Marlene Smith en Splash Water Academy. Hi Marlene, hope you are well, just want to thank you for coaching our daughter to swim so good. last Saturday, while we were watching Rugby, Zanri and her brother was playing near the swimming pool, I heard one of them falling into the pool, obviously I rushed to check, but as soon as I could get there she was standing outside the pool, soaking wet, telling me Mommy I had a swim!!! We are so grateful for you and Splash, that could have been so much worse!! So Thank You so Much!! We appreciate you! P.S – as much as she can scream and shout not to swim!! she totally loves you.
